Elizabeth VanAcker
Elizabeth began her professional career as a Respite worker for developmentally challenged children, she then moved into School Social Work at a Louisiana middle school. Through these experiences Ms. VanAcker realized there was a need for streamlined technology in social work. She received her bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Sociology and then received her Masters in Social Work / Business Administration in 2000.
She took control of Five Points Technology in August 2004 with a vision to develop a technology company that prioritized high quality social work and improved productivity for the persons dedicated to helping those in need. Five Points offers a full array of human service information technology solutions. When Ms. VanAcker became CEO, the company was challenged financially, but in 5 years she has lead Five Points to profitability, financial growth and credibility in the market place; Elizabeth guided the business development of a new product line for the case management provider segment of the human service market while increasing market share of existing products in the administration and government integration portion of the business.
Ms. VanAcker has been a participant as a vendor in key reform efforts across the country through providing technology solutions that eased the transition and improved services during these challenging times of change. She has dedicated her career to designing information systems that create a more efficient and accountable environment for clients and social workers.
Rob Reed
Rob is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and was awarded the Innovator Award at the Intersystems Developer’s Conference in 2001. After graduation, Rob worked as a Computer Programmer / Analyst with G. Pierce Wood Memorial Hospital and was awarded the Florida Tax Watch Davis Productivity Award for DCNA application. From there Rob moved on to the Department of Children & Families in Tallahassee, Florida as an Analyst. He was Lead Analyst on a statewide web application now known as OneFamily. He was responsible for complete project life cycles, including requirements determination, technical planning, scheduling, design, implementation, testing, and post-implementation support.
In 2002, Rob accepted the position of V.P. of Technology Operations with Five Points Technology Group, Inc. In this role, Rob manages a team of 20 business analysts and technical staff. He was the Lead Analyst on the CoBRIS project. CoBRIS, Community Based Resource Information System, is an enterprise integration tool used by Community Based Care Providers throughout the State of Florida. Rob has and continues to stay on the cutting edge of technology that provides our customers and clients with the state of the art software making their network user friendly and the most efficient software available today. Rob has made his mark as the cornerstone of Five Points Technology.
